What changes immediately
- The account is marked deactivated and cannot sign in
- Device / push notification tokens for that session are cleared
- Local app session and cached account data on your device after logout

How to delete your Chatflo account
This page explains how users of the Chatflo mobile app (published by Payflo) can request deletion of their account and what happens to their data.

Request account deletion
The fastest way is to delete your account from inside the Chatflo app. You can also email us if you no longer have access to the app.
Follow the numbered steps below to request that your Chatflo account is deleted.
- Open Chatflo and sign in Launch the Chatflo app on your phone and sign in with the phone number or email linked to the account you want deleted.
- Go to Settings Open the main menu / profile area and tap Settings.
- Choose Delete Account Scroll to the account section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm deletion Review the confirmation prompt, then confirm. Chatflo deactivates the account immediately. Chats and profile data stay stored as described below.
- Or request by email (if you cannot use the app) Email support@chatfloapp.com from a contact method we can associate with your account. Include your registered phone number or email and the subject Chatflo account deletion request. We process email requests within 7 days.
What data is deleted or kept
When you delete your Chatflo account from Settings, we soft-delete it. The account is deactivated so you cannot sign in. We do not erase your profile, chats, messages, or media.
Kept on the server
- Phone number, email, username, and profile name
- Profile photo / avatar
- Chats, messages, media, and group history
- Limited security, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance records
Retention periods
- Account deactivation is applied immediately when confirmed in the app, or within 7 days of a verified email request.
- Profile, chats, and media stay stored with the deactivated account. Other participants may still see messages you already sent.
- Security / legal records: retained as long as needed for safety, dispute resolution, or applicable law — typically up to 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
Deleting your Chatflo account does not automatically delete accounts on other Payflo products unless those products are the same Chatflo account. If you need help, contact support@chatfloapp.com.
